“Is God A Necessity?”

Presenter: Dick Stetler – August 2021

The shortest answer is “No.”  God is not a necessity for anyone. When we graduate from being in our temporary, limited, distracted forms, we will collectively gather in the next realm. Once there, we will understand with far more clarity that there is no more evidence in the next realmto support the existence of God than there was in the physical world from which we have just departed. Why is that?

We have been promised that God loves us, so how is it that there is no evidence of God’s existence anywhere.  Is belief a necessity that there is a God?  Again, the answer is “No.”  God is not in the business of collecting need-driven, dependent people.  Spirit-beings have no need for evidence that God is real.  Their understanding is much like our understanding of electricity.   We can never see it but the evidence existsfrom the results it creates.

Knowledge of God is not a necessity for spirit-beings, until they incarnate for a private and very personal adventure in a limited form.  When they incarnate, they must leave their identity behind.Quite often, this a very humbling experience for angels. However, be not mistaken, they bring all their skills with them but those skillsremain hidden within themselves where the genius of each is stored.

Their near total amnesia begins at birth. For many, this experience is quite traumatic.  Eventually, they adjust to their environment and they are drawn by their senses toward the physical world and all that it offers. They develop emotions thatnewcomers never experienced prior to their entrance into the material world. The emotion they prize the most is fear.  They are excited by fear much like our first ride on a rollercoaster in an amusement park.

Throughout our lives we encounter people who do not have any beliefs held by religious people. Basically, they are decent people who have had no need to have God in order to understand what is required of them to live successfully by remaining happy and fulfilled.Fora good number of them, worshipping God appears both primitive and somewhat unnecessary.  Other people who confess to have God in their lives as a copilot, need a sense of comfort and stability in their lives that such a belief gives to them.

The energy that fuels the imagination of all people comes from the same curious source within them.  To be fair to unbelievers, the term God, is the name given to an unknowable abstraction that believers have personalized.  Most are taught to please this divine being by holding high ethical practices and have trained their attitudes to express loving energy through kindness and self-control.

To be truthful, God does not have emotions.  God remains the Creator of the universe that is filled with trillions of planets populated by various life formsin various stages of evolution just like our earth.  Spirit-beings routinely experience adventures by incarnating into various life forms throughout the universe. Those who somewhat awaken to their inner world and allow their hidden treasure to bleed through their physical forms, advance toward Enlightenment. This is what Siddhartha, Jesus, and others were able to do.

The levels of Enlightenmentare never ending.  The goal of every spirit-being is to become what God symbolizes to religious people. To grow toward this endless goal, they must achieve the ability to develop and use loving energy to ever increasing levels of intensity. The more each entity advances, the less visible self becomes.

They are able to exhibit their angelic qualities while still in their limited forms.Others seeing these qualities try to exhibit them by duplicating what they see, but that process always fails.  Each has to awaken to their own hidden treasures for them to be sustainable.Beliefs or no beliefs, each life-form matures unassisted by externaldivine energy. Every mood, attitude, and intellectual understanding comes from an urge within each of them to live and grow against all odds.

They understand that life is a struggle requiring each to do their own homework.  Those who do not grow through their experiences, reach out to an imaginary savior for assistance.  Success only comes from their adjusting to their circumstances.  However, many claim that a favorable result came from God blessing them.  Their profound gratitude is expressed to God even when there has not been any divine intervention.

Each life form fuels its growthby curiosity.  They learn from each other’s thoughts and insights.  Each one will build on the activities of otherswhile the more Enlightened people forge ahead toward new, unexplored frontiers in spirituality, the sciences, and human services.

What feeds their curiosity is that every discovery reveals new understanding that increases their thirstfor moreinsights.  They grow impatient with plateaus in every field.  Failures are understood as beingnecessary stepping-stones for any pioneer. They stay with their chosen path regardless of how others believe or label what they are doing.

Many pioneersrun down every blind alley until they find a bridge that takes them from where they are to a realm that their desiresare seeking.  Many die still reaching for what initially appears to be unreachable. They keep knocking on the door of greater understanding until it opens revealing new insights beggingthem to explore further. What they discover is never satisfying to the pioneers. They know there are other secrets that will reveal their identities when they find them.

Females are the slowest gender to accelerate their curiosity.Early female pioneers through sheer determination have learned how to harness the knowledge that human energy expands the more it is expressed. Eventually, they shed former images that held them back from reaching goals denied to their ancestors.

Pioneer men and women are moving forward by conquering major diseases, developing ways to explore other planets in our solar system and beyond, and exploring new ways of developing inexpensive forms of reliable energy.  Pioneers are learningthat all the answers they seek rely on their curiosity to stretch for what was once thought to be impossible.

Eventually they evolve intounimportant, unknown people needing nothing from the material world.  They are still visible but they remain unrecognized.  Very few people outside the Hebrew community knew anything about a carpenter named Jesus until long after he graduated from life.

Humanity must never mistake invisibility for the idea that God does not exist.Nature is filled with many examples to support the understandingthat creativity arises from an invisible source.Peoplemay not care about Nature andignore everythinghercreativity is silently pointing to. If frontiers of reality remain unexplored, they will exceed in only one area – their delay in growth.

Does God care about this?  “No.”People are totally free to behave in any manner they wish. For billions of people, the truthabout the meaning of life will remainhidden until each individual discovers what has been a vital part of them since he or she was born. Until that happens, each will be controlled by the fantasies of the material world and whatis required of them to receive its promised treasures.

When everyone graduates from their lives on earth, they rejoice when they learnthat they were onlybeing exposed to an education.  Through continued exposure to eons of recycling births, each spirit-being willeventually learnto experience their divinity even during periods when their true identity remains unknown to them.  At this point, each one will arrive at being God in the flesh.
